Rachel and Nick’s December 21, 2025 wedding at Hidden River Ranch in Lampasas, Texas, was the perfect blend of romance, joy, and Hill Country charm. Tucked away in the heart of Central Texas, Hidden River Ranch created a beautiful setting for a winter wedding surrounded by the people they love most. From the gorgeous scenery to the meaningful moments throughout the day, every part of their celebration felt intentional, personal, and completely them.

A Personal Connection to Rachel and the Schiller Family

Rachel is incredibly special to me, and photographing her wedding day felt like a full-circle moment. I’ve known Rachel since she was 15, and over the past eight years, I’ve had the honor of documenting so many milestones for the Schiller family—from senior portraits and weddings for her sisters, Emily and Kristen, to pregnancy announcements and the beautiful beginnings of their own growing family.

Being part of Rachel and Nick’s wedding day at Hidden River Ranch in Lampasas, Texas, felt less like work and more like celebrating family. At this point, I proudly consider myself an honorary Schiller.

The morning of Rachel and Nick’s wedding was filled with laughter and excitement as Rachel and her bridesmaids got ready together. From cozy pajamas and happy chatter to nonstop smiles, the getting-ready room was full of energy. Niko Ramirez Artistry worked their magic with hair and makeup while everyone soaked in those last quiet moments before the day really began. It was the perfect start to a beautiful winter wedding at Hidden River Ranch.

One of the most touching moments of the morning was watching Allison, Rachel’s mom, help her youngest daughter into her wedding dress. It was a quiet moment filled with so much love. Soon after, Rachel shared a series of first looks with her sisters, her dad, and her bridesmaids. Each one was emotional, personal, and completely different.

Before the ceremony, Nick spent time with his closest friends, soaking in the excitement and enjoying some time together before the day really got started. Rachel was walked down the aisle by her tearful dad, Brad, who gave his last daughter away in a deeply moving moment at the bright and airy chapel at Hidden River Ranch.

The natural light flooding the space perfectly complemented the heartfelt ceremony. Rachel and Nick’s unique quirks and genuine love came through in every word of their vows. Emotions ran high, with plenty of tears shared by the couple and their loved ones. It was a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony in Lampasas, TX.

Instead of a traditional first look, Rachel and Nick shared a tender first touch. They held hands, shared a quiet prayer, and took a few private minutes together before walking down the aisle. It was a beautiful way to slow down and savor the moment.

As golden hour washed over Hidden River Ranch, we captured breathtaking portraits of Rachel and Nick that left me teary-eyed. Seeing baby Schiller glowing on her wedding day was such a special moment. It was full of love, nostalgia, and the kind of magic only a Hill Country sunset can create.

Later, dinner was a delicious spread from Thrall County Diner, paired with an array of desserts and a stunning wedding cake by Morgan Pearl Cakes.

Meanwhile, Nick and Rachel’s fairytale first dance was truly magical. They had carefully practiced their moves ahead of time. With Rachel’s background as a high school dancer and Baylor dance team member, their performance was both graceful and full of love. It was truly a moment to remember.

A Joyful Christmas Wedding Reception

The celebration continued into the night with music by DJ Cel. He kept the dance floor alive and the energy high at Hidden River Ranch. And don’t worry—the party pictures definitely take over the end of this beautiful love story!

Meanwhile, content creator Lemon Creative captured every joyful moment. She made sure none of the celebration’s magic was missed, from the dance floor to all the little moments in between.

Later in the night, Rachel took over the DJ booth alongside DJ Cel, bringing even more energy and excitement to the party as they kept everyone dancing and celebrating.

The night ended with a joyful grand bubble exit. Rachel and Nick drove away surrounded by shimmering bubbles and cheers from their friends and family. Their fun getaway car was ready to whisk the newlyweds away as they began their happily ever after at Hidden River Ranch in Lampasas, Texas.

It’s truly a full-circle moment for the Schiller family. Watching their youngest, Rachel, get married fills me with tears and joy. I’ve been part of so many milestones over the years, and I’m honored to witness this beautiful chapter. I’m excited to celebrate all the future memories and milestones still to come for this incredible family.
