Kayla and Michael’s engagement session at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas was the perfect blend of romance, elegance, and timeless beauty. With their October 17, 2026 Victoria, Texas wedding on the horizon, these two chose one of the most iconic engagement photo locations in San Antonio to celebrate this exciting season of their lives. The stunning architecture and lush gardens of the McNay Art Museum created the dreamiest backdrop for their engagement portraits.

Kayla wore a beautiful white floral maxi dress that moved effortlessly through the gardens and courtyards, perfectly complementing the classic charm of the museum grounds. Even though we were right on the cusp of winter and spring in Texas, the weather gave us the most perfect evening — soft light, comfortable temperatures, and that golden glow photographers dream about.

As a San Antonio wedding photographer, engagement sessions like this one at the McNay Art Museum are some of my absolute favorites. The variety of textures, historic architecture, and peaceful gardens make it one of the most beautiful engagement session locations in San Antonio.
Kayla and Michael will be saying “I do” in Victoria, Texas next fall, and after spending this evening with them, it’s clear their wedding day is going to be something incredibly special.

If you’re recently engaged and searching for a San Antonio engagement photographer, choosing a location like the McNay Art Museum is a beautiful way to create timeless engagement photos you’ll love forever.
Engagement sessions are included in many of my wedding photography collections and are one of my favorite ways to get to know my couples before their wedding day.
Whether you’re planning a wedding in San Antonio, Victoria, the Texas Hill Country, or anywhere across Texas, I would love to help tell your story through joyful, natural, and timeless images.
