A Romantic Texas Hill Country Celebration • November 1, 2025

Lauren and David’s beautiful fall wedding at Dos Palomos Ranch was the perfect blend of elegance, joy, and unforgettable emotion. From the moment I met David during his surprise proposal to Lauren, I knew their wedding day would be extraordinary — and being trusted to document every step of their journey is one of the greatest honors of my career.
What unfolded on November 1, 2025 was a day full of laughter, happy tears, vibrant friendship, and a little rain (which is good luck!) that only made the day even more magical.

The morning began with excitement and heartfelt anticipation as both sides got ready in the beautiful suites.
The girls’ bridal suite was glowing with smiles, champagne toasts, and stories shared between lifelong friends. Lauren was pampered by the incredible team at Veil Artistry, who created a flawless glam look that highlighted her natural beauty. Her bridesmaids — dressed in elegant black satin gowns, each showcasing their own unique style — were overflowing with happiness and kindness, wrapping Lauren in love from the start.

Meanwhile, the guys had a celebration of their own: music, drinks, laughter, and — of course — the game on TV. Their energy was contagious and set the tone for a lively, unforgettable wedding day.

Before the ceremony, Lauren and David shared a deeply emotional first look that brought everyone to tears. They took a quiet moment alone to exchange private vows, easing nerves and allowing them to truly soak in the significance of the day.
These intimate, heartfelt moments are where their love shined brightest — a perfect reminder of why I love capturing candid wedding stories.

Just as the ceremony began, light rain drifted over the ranch — a soft, romantic touch that added even more emotion. (or it made everyone cover their head and hope more didn’t fall!)
Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Lauren and David exchanged vows in a ceremony that can only be described as intimate, peaceful, and full of love.
Guests covered their heads and wished they had umbrellas, smiling through the rain, proving that love always shines brightest on the not-so-perfect days.

After the ceremony, we headed out for newlywed portraits — and once again, the rain joined us. Instead of dampening the moment, it made it unforgettable.
Lauren and David embraced the weather with joy and laughter, resulting in some of the most romantic, cinematic portraits of the entire day. Their connection was effortless and genuine, and the soft rain added a dreamy glow to every image.

The reception at Dos Palomos Ranch was beautifully transformed by The Petal Artist with elegant all-white florals and soft candlelit décor that created a timeless, romantic atmosphere. Lush white blooms, natural greenery, and glowing candles set the perfect tone for an intimate Texas Hill Country celebration. This refined, light-filled design complemented the venue’s charm and made Lauren and David’s reception feel warm, elegant, and unforgettable.

Lauren and David both attended the University of Alabama, and their reception was filled with Crimson Tide love. From David’s fraternity brothers to Lauren’s closest college friends, the room was packed with school spirit, shared memories, and an incredible sense of community.
This wasn’t just a wedding — it was a reunion of people who adore this couple.

In a fun and unforgettable twist, Lauren and David traded the traditional cake cutting for ice cream from Handel’s at South Rim. They shared a playful ice-cream feeding moment that had the whole room cheering — a perfect reflection of their joyful personalities.

The reception was a nonstop celebration thanks to DJ for Hire TX, who kept the dance floor packed all night long. My second shooter (Amber, and she’s the BEST!) and I ran around capturing the “coolest” reception photos — literally — with stylish sunglasses we handed out to guests. These fun, candid moments ended up being some of the most loved images of the night! (Or they were in my opinion;)

Yes, I absolutely posted way too many party pics… but honestly, this crew gave me no choice. They TURNED. UP.

The party pics were already excessive, but this dance floor demanded documentation. And since I clearly have no self-control, I just uploaded more.
From the rain-kissed ceremony to the laughter-filled reception, Lauren and David’s wedding was overflowing with love, authenticity, and unforgettable moments. Their day was far more beautiful and meaningful than words can truly describe, and I am endlessly grateful to have been a part of this incredible journey — from proposal to “I do.”

Cheers to Mr and Mrs Bock!
